Delivery and Installation
At Tread Smart Tyres, we believe buying new tyres should be as easy as enjoying the ride. That’s why we offer fast delivery and a nationwide network of certified, reliable tyre fitters right here in New Zealand.
All tyres are delivered FREE to your selected address, or selected Professional Fitter. (Professional fitted tyres will also receive FREE delivery, but will incur a $35per tyre fitting and balance fee at checkout).
Please note that at present we are currently delivering and installing in the Canterbury area only, we will be expanding nationwide soon!
When you order your tyres, you’re not just getting a great product—you’re gaining access to our trusted installation service. Once your tyres arrive, you can quickly connect with one of our expert installers, schedule a convenient date and time, and have your new tyres fitted safely and professionally. Our extensive network means there’s always a local fitter ready to help, ensuring your vehicle gets the attention it deserves without any hassle.
During the Checkout, select to have your tyres sent to the address of your choice (we're able to ship to all non-rural areas only, EXPANDING SOON!), or to one of our professional installers.

Returns
At Tread Smart Tyres, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains how returns, refunds, and warranty claims are handled when you buy tyres or related products from us.

1. Your Consumer Rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if the goods are faulty, not of acceptable quality, or not fit for purpose.

2. Faulty or Damaged Products
• If your tyres arrive damaged or develop a fault, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order.
• We will work with you to arrange a repair, replacement, or refund in line with the CGA.
• Proof of purchase (e.g. order confirmation or receipt) is required.

3. Change of Mind Returns
• We do not normally offer refunds or exchanges if you change your mind after purchase.
• However, at our discretion, we may accept returns on unused, unfitted tyres. Refunds may be approved after tyres have been inspected.
• In these cases, return shipping costs are your responsibility and a restocking fee may apply.

4. Incorrect Orders
• If we send you the wrong product, we will arrange for collection and replacement at no extra cost to you.
• If you ordered the wrong tyre size or specification, please contact us. We may be able to assist, but additional costs may apply. Please ensure tyres remain unused and unfitted. Refunds will be approved after tyres have been inspected.

6. How to Request a Return or Refund
